When even the casinos chose

To close, you know

That's how it goes.

Locks on drawers,

Exit by scores,

The house slams shut its doors.

Six feet of space deemed too close,

Ten of us, gross,

Government notes.

Orders given

(Keep on living)

To the houses we are driven.

I have watched the ranks drawn close,

Acts grandiose

When needed most.

Course expedited,

Darkness lighted,

Our house is standing united.

The painful chapters can now close,

No common foes,

No one opposed. 

No fear of grouse,

Or angry louse,

All now stand closer to the house.
