Masks
I've been known to wear many masks,
Depending on who you are and what you ask.
It's easier than showing my feelings.
It's easier than coming down from the ceiling.
Call me on the phone, I'll disguise my voice.
Ask my opinion, I'll give you a choice.
Don't try and unmask me.
Don't bother to ask me.
Some things will be best left uncovered.
There's so much you won't discover.
-------------------------------------
I've been known to wear many masks.
All the ones needed when taken to task.
Your eyes may look for flesh and skin
And they may anger at the lack of them.
Call me on the phone, I'll disguise my voice.
Ask my opinion, I'll give you a choice.
Don't try and unmask me.
Don't bother to ask me.
Because when the morning light comes through,
I'll still look just like you.
